We are partnering with a well-respected School District in Spanaway, WA that is looking for a highly motivated and passionate Licensed School Psychologist for a contract positionCandidates must be willing to support a friendly, positive and professional environment and work in a fast-paced settingThe client is seeking a candidate available for full time hoursThey would prefer someone with previous School, Early Childhood, or Pediatric ExperienceThe schedule will be 7 Hour Days Monday through FridayThis is an immediate need and the client is actively interviewingWe encourage all candidates who are interested in this position to apply and/or to reach out to their AMN Healthcare, Med Travelers, or Club Staffing recruiterLicensure/Certification/Registration :
Valid NV state SLP license Certificate of Clinical competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Valid driver's license and ability to meet driving requirements requiredAmerican Heart Association Basic Life Support for HealthCare Provider (BLS/HCP)
Experience:
One year of experience with swallowing disorders OR extensive dysphagia management experience within internship/externship programMust have training and knowledge in prevention; screening, evaluation, and assessment; planning, implementing, and monitoring intervention; consultation with and education for team members, including families and other professional; service coordination; transition planning; advocacy, awareness and advancement of the knowledge base in early intervention, to treat, and help to prevent communication and swallowing disorders in patientsMust work with people in a tactful, diplomatic and professional mannerMust be able to remain pleasant and patient, and have good communication skillsHighly organized while working and maintains a high level of accuracy and efficiencyMust have the ability to demonstrate effective time management skills while working independently with minimal supervisionComputer proficiency requiredSNF Experience preferred New Grad are okayEducation :
