We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Market Intelligence Specialist to provide essential support to our Business Development team.
This role is integral in researching government proposals and sales initiatives, with a strong focus on data management.
The ideal candidate will be proficient with Microsoft Teams, demonstrate strong Google search capabilities, and possess sharp analytical skills.
Your role is vital in ensuring our business strategies are informed by the latest government data and market trends.
Key
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Business Development Specialist in researching and analyzing government proposals and sales opportunities.
Employ Microsoft Teams for effective internal communication, document sharing, and coordination of projects.
Perform thorough Google searches to collect relevant market intelligence, proposal information, and competitor analysis.
Regularly review, update, and track the status of upcoming proposals, ensuring readiness and timely submissions.
Execute precise data entry tasks, guaranteeing accuracy and completeness of government-released data.
Monitor government databases and websites for new business opportunities and pertinent updates.
Read and analyze documents related to business development, providing concise summaries and briefs to aid decision-making.
Assist in preparing proposal documents, including formatting, editing, and proofreading.
Develop presentations and briefing materials for internal and external stakeholders.
Participate in meetings, providing summaries and identifying action items as needed.
Undertake ad-hoc research and administrative tasks in support of the business development team.
Required Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Teams and other Microsoft Office applications.
Advanced Google search skills for comprehensive research.
Excellent analytical abilities for interpreting complex data and information.
Strong attention to detail, especially in data management and entry.
Effective monitoring of multiple projects and proposals.
Solid organizational skills with the ability to efficiently prioritize tasks.
No direct/previous contracting experience required.
Optional Skills:
Experience in using Airtable or document management platforms.
Basic understanding of wage rate determinations and labor compliance.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
